adadmin - Error calling adptaskStoreInfoToSessAttr

the other day I hit this error while trying to place the system into Maintenance mode. A search on Metalink confirmed that the problem was a missing environment variable. The PLATFORM variable was missing.

I issued the following command "PLATFORM=LINUX; export PLATFORM" and voila, problem fixed.
